Acoustic interface contrast imaging with a constant velocity assumptionPP

We present a representation for acoustic data, consisting of one volume integral and three interface integrals. The volume integral contains a velocity contrast and vanishes under a constant velocity assumption. The interface integrals contain the spatial derivatives of the mass density. We linearize the representation under a constant velocity assumption and invert for the density gradient. We evaluate the results in constant velocity media and in media with velocity variations.
