Application of Inertial Proximal Alternating Linearized Minimization to dynamic CTPP

The interaction of the 28 bones in the foot and ankle structure is not fully understood due to a lack of a precise bio-mechanical model. We present a tailored reconstruction algorithm based on a spatio-temporal regularization in variational framework for fully 4D imaging of joint motion. The ability to resolve joint dynamics could be instrumental to the ankle replacement surgery leading to increased success rates which are currently at half that of a fusion procedure.
