A model of a dynamic system for predicting neurological disease progression through longitudinal imagingPP

We developed a predictive model to estimate the cortical thickness of the brain based on longitudinal imaging. Representing the cerebral cortex as a 3D mesh, the predictive model incorporates the diffusion effect of neighboring vertices, as well as biological influence on vertex-wise growth factor into a dynamical system. The asymptotic stability is explored in accordance with the behaviour of cortical growth.
