Mathematical methods of ptychographical imagingMS2

In ptychographical imaging a set of far-field diffraction patterns of a sample is used to reconstruct it. Those patterns are obtained by illuminating small parts of the sample and shifting this illumination such that in the end the whole sample will be covered. We will introduce this technique, point out its (mathematical) challenges, and present methods how to tackle them. This is joint work with Frank Filbir (HMGU), Rayan Saab (UCSD), and Christian Schroer (DESY).

This presentation is part of Minisymposium “MS2 - Interpolation and Approximation Methods in Imaging (4 parts)
organized by: Alessandra De Rossi (University of Torino) , Costanza Conti (University of Firenze) , Francesco Dell'Accio (University of Calabria) .
