Gustavo Chau received his B.Sc. in electrical engineering from San Martín de Porres University (2012) and received the masters degree in Digital Signal and Image Processing from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (2017). Between 2015 and 2016, he was a research assistant at the medical imaging laboratory at PUCP, where he performed research in medical imaging, ultrasound and phase aberration. Since 2017, he is a research assistant at the digital signal processing laboratory in the same institution, where he is involved in topics of image processing, optimization and inverse problems. His research interests include: neuroscience, brain-machine interfaces, neural engineering, signal and image processing, medical imaging, inverse problems, optimization and machine learning.
