Color perception is a fascinating field of research which has inspired
variational models for color correction.
Recently, geometric approaches were added to the models to fit better
with the human visual system, to treat various color spaces and to
transport colors between images.
The minisymposium will address recent developments
in the field of geometrical color image processing
reaching from the perception of brightness in color images,
color enhancement and restoration in different color spaces to the
colorization of images based on their geometry.
