We address the problem of change detection in pairs of images (e.g. satellite images), by considering a computer variant of the well-known "Spot the difference" game. Given an algorithm designed for detecting changes, we build a model of pairs of images on which this particular algorithm fails to detect the actual changes. This provides a way to compare existing change detection algorithms and their combinations, and leads us to design new ones.
